Bangladesh Agricultural Extension Network (BAEN) on 18th November 2017, in Bangladesh Agriculture Research Council (BARC), Farmgate, Dhaka recognized and awarded the USAID Agricultural Extension Support Activity (AESA) Project for its outstanding performance in agricultural extension and advisory services. AESA was amongst 18 other projects whose work had been recognized and would be used as examples for replication and scaling. The event to mark the launch of BAEN and celebrate outstanding agricultural development projects in Bangladesh was presided over by Mohammad Hamidur Rahman, President of BAEN and EX DG of Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) and Dr. Kazi M Badruddoza, the national emeritus scientist was the chief guest of the event.
